The low-concentrated PV (LCPV) plants

The company has developed and manufactured several types of LCPV plants based on solar modules with two-way sensitivity.

1. SEU 4000K

SEU 4000K is a plant with optical concentrators on 16 modules with bifacial sensitivity. An optical concentrator and modules are installed on a tracker that tracks the position of the sun in the polar coordinate system.

2. SEU 1000KD, 2000KD, 3000KD

Plants are available in accordance with the patent № 2406043 RU. The plant also includes a tracker for the position of the sun tracking. In the plant used the set of customization possibilities of solar modules with bifacial sensitivity is used that allows you to get on a solar module, with standard size 1600x1000 mm, peak power of 500 Wt.

3. The cogeneration low-concentrated PV plants
The LCPV plants on the bifacial cooled modules is developed.
The LCPV plants has the following competitive advantages in relation to the existing solar PV systems:
- Operation at high ambient temperatures (up to 55 ºC), at it the temperature of PV module will not exceed 80 ºC;
- High specific power of the module, more than 340 W per m2 at ambient temperature of 25 ºC;
- Getting a heat in the form of hot water;
- The efficiency of the solar cell by the total (electrical and thermal) peak power - 70%;
- Less total cost per watt of generated electric and thermal power of LCPV plant.

All types of solar systems have a system for tracking the position of the sun in polar coordinates. This system increases the production of electrical and thermal energy by 28%, which is equivalent to an increase in the total peak power by this value.

 

Under the agreement No.94GRNTIS5/26065 with the Foundation for the Promotion of the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere, in 2019 design documentation was developed, a prototype of a cogeneration unit was manufactured and tested.
